Hooping.org

May 20, 2010 was the first time I picked up a hoop and found my first current. I was at an event to hear my friend discuss her photography, and at the end of it, I picked up one of the hoops hanging on the wall. I was wearing a sweater dress in the middle of May for some reason, and moving with the hoop around my waist was making me hot and sweaty, but I was so invigorated it didn’t bother me (even when my friends asked if I was hot!). A couple weeks later, I began having dreams where I picked up a hoop and carried it on my shoulder throughout the dream (but never hooped with it). Three months later, I called Ariane and asked her if she had a pink, black and silver sparkle hoop I could have (like the one in my dreams). She said yes and I my dream continues…
