    Hi Twirlgirl,
    There are a few of us Hoopnotica-trained hoopers around in the Hartford area. I teach a family class at the Jewish Community Center in WH – HoopInConnection.com. And the three gals at Beat City Hoops.com teach at the Hartford City Ballet on New Park St, Hartford.
    Not sure where to have informal hoop jams in the winter, but in the summer I bring my hoops to Elizabeth Park for the Wednesday night concerts.
    There are also hoopers in Middletown and surrounding areas.
