An excerpt from this weeks’ one-year anniversary entry:

“The just-for-me side of my hooping is like sex, therapy, and worship all rolled into one. It’s both new and hallowed territory – an internal and unmapped landscape that I opt, for now, to explore alone. If I’m truly going to go deep, in other words, I’m going to do it when and where only the moon is watching. I’m going to dig my feet in and let it rip somewhere I can break down in tears, or erupt into laughter, fall on my ass, or lose myself in bliss.”
