    Hi everyone =)

So I made a last minute decision to sell hoops at a local festival this weekend. It’s on the beach and the craft area will be in the sand. Unfortunately I don’t have a folding table or EZ up tent and trying to brainstorm ideas on how to display the hoops inexpensively. If all else fails will most likely just lay down a blanket but that could get messy with wind/sand and everything. Hopefully you will think of something better!

If you can get your hands on a couple of saw horses, or two ladders, run either clothes line or a broom/stick across and hang your hoop that way. They are very visible, out of the sand, and very pretty that way. I use cheap zip-ties so I can easily just cut the tie and rehang if someone wants to ‘test-drive’ a hoop (they sell MUCH faster that way) and you don’t have to restring the inventory.

Good luck! The beach is a GREAT place to get people hooping!

My sister designed a clever hoop stand from a board and mop brackets: http://whirligighoopers.com/?page_id=146

It’s advantage is that it is small and easy to transport.

Thanks for the advice! I ended up tying the hoops to the top of an ez up with ribbon, worked out perfectly. I will defiantly have to try to build the hoop stand, such a good idea. And Wendy you were right, I had everyone hooping by the end of the festival!
