video of the day

Alaskan Amy spent some time hooping her way around Northern California and Tahoe in this video. Soundtrack: "Where is the Love" by the Black Eyed Peas.

trick of the week

It's time to learn the "Booty Bump" - or revisit it this week if you haven't done it in awhile.

track of the week

Armin van Buuren: Imagine

This week's hoop track is from Armin van Buuren's newly release "Imagine" - in fact it's the title track itself and Sonja says she just can't stop hooping to it. We've added the song to our Hoop Sounds listening station up top. You can also check it out as well as the rest of "Imagine" - and download it for yourself on iTunes by clicking:

Contribute to Hooping.org

Hooping.org Magazine wants your stories, articles, links, videos, pics and more for publication. We welcome original content submissions, as well as your tips on content you've noticed elsewhere you think we ought to see. Just send it in, or if it's already online somewhere else just send us the link.

The most recognized and respected hula hooping website with thousands of visitors weekly, Hooping.org is first and foremost a labor of love by one hooper for hoopers everywhere. Your contribution will give yourself, and your website if you have one, considerable exposure, on top of that warm fuzzy feeling you'll get that comes from participating in your community!

Published articles or other content of yours will include your byline. Our Photo of the Day and Video of the Day and Tricks video submissions are ideally already hosted somewhere else online. If for some reason you think Hooping.org is truly the place to host it, we can discuss that too. When it comes to image content we routinely link the source as well as give credit to the photographer.

Obviously everything that is submitted may not be published, or may be published in a less than timely fashion. We'll do our best to let you know our reasoning if we find it necessary to say no or hold on to something for awhile. We may hang on to your submission so we can publish it at a future date, in a special theme issue perhaps, or maybe we just ran something quite similar and we need to let some time pass before we run another such item. We truly want Hooping.org Magazine to be a project by the community for the community so get involved and contribute. Contact us.

We look forward to hearing from you.
