Richmond Hula Hoop Girl Jessica Pascual Found Dead
The Richmond Times-Dispatch in Richmond, Virginia, reports on the death of Jessica Pascual, 20. "She was always hula-hooping out here on the driveway," said Stuart Garnett, a longtime resident of the apartment building on Kensington. "That's why everybody called her 'Hula-Hoop Girl.'" Karen Pascual, Jessica's mother, told the press she doesn't know what happened. Police are continuing their investigation and are waiting for the state medical examiner's office to assign a cause of death. An affidavit for a search warrant has revealed Pascual was found face-down in an apartment building parking lot. Her clothes were disheveled and tire tracks were "covering her body". Blood smears were found on a door to the apartment building. Richmond Times-Dispatch, 8 News, Midlothian Exchange

Oh my god. 20 years young and her life ends. What a sad moment for her family and friends and hooping community. I hope she went painlessly and her life was full. We never know when our time is up, so we need to be kind and mindful all the time. Or just hoop and be silent. Love to her family.

My name is Desiree. I was one of Jessica's best friends. She was beautiful, extremely intelligent, kind, spiritual and a wonderful friend. She was well loved and sorely missed. Thank you for remembering her.
