Michelle Obama is a Hooper
Senator Barack Obama told People Magazine that one of his wife Michelle's secret talents is that she can really hoop. "She is the best Hula-Hooper I know. Once she gets the rhythm going, she can drop to her knees!" In the article where the Democratic presidential candidate and possible future first lady talk about how they raise their kids in the public eye, Hooping.org Magazine was very excited by the prospect that there may one day be hoops inside the White House. Do you think we'll ever see Barack hooping though? He told People, "That is one thing you will never see – me Hula-Hooping. I think that's clear."

Perhaps if we send him enough hoops, he'll get the hint. (or if 5000 hoopers show up at a rally with *hula hoops for president* signs...)
He's already got my vote, but I think he should definitely re-consider the hula hoop demographic. ;)

Woo hoo! I live across the street from the place where the Nashville presidential debate is being held Oct. 7! Calling all hoopers to hoop it up in my front lawn. Who knows? Maybe the future FLOTUS will hop out of the motorcade and join our hoop jam!
