It's time to learn the "Booty Bump" - or revisit it this week if you haven't done it in awhile.

track of the week

Armin van Buuren: Imagine

This week's hoop track is from Armin van Buuren's newly release "Imagine" - in fact it's the title track itself and Sonja says she just can't stop hooping to it. We've added the song to our Hoop Sounds listening station up top. You can also check it out as well as the rest of "Imagine" - and download it for yourself on iTunes by clicking:

Hoola Hoop Tape Tips

natasha and her tape Tracey in Shawnee, Oklahoma, wrote in asking for tips on how to tape her hoop. Decorating your own hoop for the first time can be a challenge, so when you're done making your hoop, here's a video trio giving you the inside scoop on how it's done by two women who have it down. Natasha in Dayton, Ohio, delivers some excellent instructions on how she tapes her hoops and why, followed by two videos of Xta in Vancouver, British Columbia, wrapping herself a rainbow hoop while explaining the methods to her madness. So enjoy these visual guides on how to decorate your hoop and you'll be taping like a pro in no time.

Comments

I collected a number of the online resources you list here and put them all together in a site called "How to Make a Heavy Hoop."

I welcome additions and thank all the people who created the content that I used here.

I'd appreciate links to this site in tribe groups, discussion board and hooping blogs to help new hoopers learn how to make their own hoops.
