video of the day

Let's take it slow, shall we? Baxter hooping at a Hoop Path class in Austin, Texas. Video by Laura Scarborough.

trick of the week

We've had requests for info on how to do a roll across your back, so this week we're revisiting an excellent tutorial by Caroleeena. She lives in Raleigh, North Carolina.

track of the week

kaskade: grandconsoul trainin: stop

Hoop music favorites Kaskade have released "The Grand (Mixed)" that kicks off with our track of the week - "Angel On My Shoulder (EDX's Belo Horizonte At Night Remix)" and has seventeen more tasty treats. It's in the listening station up top, but get your own on iTunes by clicking:

Kaskade & Tamra - The Grand (Mixed) - Angel On My Shoulder (EDX's Belo Horizonte At Night Remix)

And then we have my current favorite hooping track. I love it and it's called "Stop" by Consoul Trainin - specifically the Diego Donati Vs F&A Factor Club Mix. It's so good and it's in the listening station. Get yours on iTunes by clicking:

BurningMan Hooping Video

Thanks to our friends at Hulatopia, I was able to bring a Video Camera to Burning Man this year and I made another Hooping Video. Check out this years hoop hapenings in Windows Media Player here!

(warning, its a huge file — 37mb — only watch if you are on a high speed connection). Also if anyone wants a hard copy of this I can burn CDs just send me an email

Bravo!!
excellent video.
Congratulations to everyone who was involved. Could we get the credits roll please.

Nice!! Thanks so much for posting this! I love how the hoop knocks into the camera at the end.

Holy s*!t that is fantasic...still dreaming of the playa. Hope to learn hoopin this year and take it to the playa in 2005

that is ab fab!! wow.. everyone looks so good.. all the moves are inspiring me to go hoop!

excuse me, but I must post again.

This video was the hot conversation topic amongst Vancouver hoopers last weekend with many of us viewing multiple (wow!) times.

Makes me think that Christabel's idea of a "national hoop challenge" might start right here on this message board.

The video posted by the LA hoopers was awesome. Stephan's video, also is excellent.

So, I'm thinking, we need to see a video production from the Bay Area Hoopers next.

(come on Jason .... pull the strings)

Vancouver is watching closely and we thank you for the inspiration. We are not quite up for our video production just yet, tho' we're up for the challenge in the long run.

Next up ... BAH video (??)
Bring it on!

p.s. I'm talking "hooping" here .... NO fire required.

mmmmmmmm...MM! finally finally finally got to view it. great job, stefan. it's beautiful.

wow - that was AMAZING! it actually made me really sad though.... cuz i took my hoops but never really found any other hoopers :( where the hell was everybody, and how did i miss them????

that said, i can't WAIT for next year!!!!!

fantastic stefan! i kept meaning to watch it at work cause my mac wasn't handling it well and since i was a little bored today i finally did it. wow. soooooo good!! thx

I'd love to view the video but alas, I do not have a high speed connection. Any chance I could get a CD and/or a floppy (if it fits on one) of the video and any other hooping vids your willing to share? My computer sometimes operates CD-Roms, but other times can't read them so I'd like to have both floppy and CD if possible. Thank you!!!!

Well I'd still like the CDRom anyway...I'll find a way to play it. Any chance I could get a copy?
