Hooping again
Two weeks ago I took a very unplanned break from hooping. I was mugged and ended up with a head injury and a hairline skull fracture. Simply walking around was bad enough at first, but I've been healing so quickly I decided to meet up with Bay Area Hoopers at Potrero del Sol on Sunday. We chose the location hoping it would bring the sun that was most definitely missing. It was great to be hooping again, even if I did end up quitting early and heading home dizzy and nauseous.

Good for you, Philo. Look at that triumphant pose, too! Ain't no mugger gonna keep YOU down.

I live in SF and have begun hooping.
I have a couple of hoops, and I have some basic skills. Many of my friends spin poi or the staff. But no one hoops!!! I would love to meet others who can teach and inspire me.
Are there any gatherings coming up? How might I find out about them? Are there any classes that you're aware of?Thanks!

The Bay Area Hoopers meet every week or two, and while it's not a class by any means, it's a great way to go and play and pick some things up. Check out the event calendar for the next BAH group hoop!
