Hooping Idol 7 Goth Week: Let’s Get Gothic

Welcome back to our seventh exciting season of Hooping Idol! Our award winning contest is leading us all again on an ever spinning search for the next great hooper star and we couldn’t be more excited. If you’re just tuning in, here’s what you’ve missed so far. We put out the Casting Call and introduced you to our 21 contestants for season 7. They got things started off with Super Seventies Week and then 6 were eliminated. And that brings us to week 2, Goth Week.

For their second challenge, things were looking darker for our remaining 15 contestants. They were told to choose a Goth Music soundtrack for their video and to think outside the box, be creative, and let their imaginations run wild and surprise us. They were schooled again on our Ten Easy Ways to Improve Your Hooping Video, and were told to have fun and make it count because at the end of Goth Week, five more would be going home.

Hooping Idol is not only a competition, it’s also a golden opportunity to learn and grow along the way thanks to the guidance of our incredible panel of international hooping star celebrity judges. They know first hand what being a hooping star is all about. So who is seated at the judge’s table for season 7? Allow us to introduce you to:

ANAH REICHENBACH

Anah Anah Reichenbach (FB, YouTube & @therealhoopalicious) of Hoop Revolution returns to the judge’s table for Hooping Idol 7! It’s going to be a good one! Lisa currently lives in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

BABZ ROBINSON

Babz Robinson Our third judge for our new season of Hooping Idol is the incomparable Babz Robinson (YouTube, FB & @babzrobinson). Coming to us from the great northern lands of Canada where she has been spinning things up since 2003 – hooping’s first Canadian connection back in the day has always been the one teaching others. It wasn’t long before she was creating community and becoming the iconic original hooper on the platforms at Shambhala, Motion Notion and other festivals throughout Western Canada. The Hoopie Award winner for Instructor of the Year, Tutorial of the Year, Hooper of the Year Canada and Hooper Hall of Fame Inductee is a force to be reckoned with too. Her awesomely advanced, professional and incredibly helpful hooping tutorials, which she shares with the world for fun and for free, have made her a perennial favorite amongst hoopers the world over. If Babz is making something, you know it’s gonna be good. We’re so psyched to have her back sharing her Hooping Idol expertise for another season. She lives in Canmore, Alberta, Canada.

LILA CHUPA-HOOPS

Lila Chupa-Hoops Lila Chupa-Hoops (Website, FB, YouTube & @lila_chupahoops) started hooping in 2010 and did her first stage performance only a few months later at Paris Decompression. Her international hooping journey really took off in 2012 when she was cast for our second season of Hooping Idol. Lila knows just what it takes to succeed on Idol too having stayed in the competition right through to the season finale. That’s when she quit her job at Notre-Dame de Paris too to become a full time hoop teacher and entertainer. “I found my hoopstyle in the pinup/vintage world and distinguished myself in a lot of european burlesque festivals showcasing one of a kind hooptease choreographies,” she told us. Aside from teaching and performing Lila also runs Rendez-v’HOOP, the hooping convention of France. She’s won Hoopie Awards for European Hooper of the Year, Doubles Hooper of the Year and Solo Performance of the Year too. She’s taught and performed all over the world and we’re excited to have her back – this time at the judge’s table.

GOTH WEEK GUEST JUDGE: JOHANNA MORESCO

She’s not only a hooper that has been spinning things up for years, she’s the violin player for The Crüxshadows, one of the most popular Goth/Dark-wave bands in the world. Formed in the early 1990’s, their 20+ years of success among the gothic, EBM, new wave, & dark electronic genres has earned them a near legendary underground status throughout the world. With thousands of performances worldwide and three #1 Billboard Hot Dance Singles to their credit, we couldn’t be more honored to have her here with us sharing her Goth Week expertise.

1. CHARLOTTE DILLARD: ATLANTA, GEORGIA, USA. Not viewable where you live? Try it on Vimeo.

ANAH: Charlotte, I really loved your twin hoop coin flip variations! I felt like you were being kind of careful though. Precision is important, but so is electricity! Bring the energy and you will really amplify your hooping power! I loved the location and yeah, those orbs were amazing.

LISA: Hey Charlotte! Initially I thought your video started out a little slow but my god, once it kicked into the castle scene’s I was mesmerised by your work with doubles! I’m actually trying to work on a tiny little bit of that stuff right now and it’s so freakin’ hard!! I’ve actually saved your video for reference because you do it so nice and slow, great work! I do wish that you would have fiddled with the contrast of your video colouring a bit more where you’re in the white hall just because your hoops disappear a little bit into the background. A great use of the firehoop as well to add an extra pizazz to this video with a great choice of song. Well done!

BABZ: While your outfits and location had a gothic theme and the song went with the occult story you were telling, I didn’t get an overwhelming goth feel. Story could use a bit of streamlining and was confusing at times. Would love to see more emotion being translated through your movement. There was some nice editing and the tighter shot of your face at 1:50 was great, close up shots like this help the audience connect with you which is always a good thing :).

LILA: Your twin flow is absolutely brain melting! I was scared not to see them poperly with the black and white filter, but it was actually fine. The silhouette part was beautiful, I loved the big glass window, one of my favourite shots! Since you introduced the fire hooping, I thought we would see more of that through the video. If I had one remark to do, it would be about the moments you smiled at the camera. I love when hoopers smile, but considering the Goth theme, a darker character would have fit better.

2. HOOPFUL V: BELMONT, NEW HAMPSHIRE, USA. Not viewable where you live? Try it on Vimeo.

ANAH: Vanessa, I love the vibe of your video and that foot iso in the beginning was dope! There were a few “oops” moments when you went away from center or hit your camera with your hoops. If it were me, I would have shot those again. Over all I really liked the concept and your mutli hoop work was good. I would have liked to see more dance expression though!

LISA: Hey Vanessa! A very creative video from you this week, I love all the forest shots and those bright pink hoops POP on that background and that’s exactly what I want to see. That opening shot of you falling is awesome! but those short shorts are so crotchy! it’s fine when you’re standing up but when you choose to open your legs to the camera like you do in the beginning where you’re sitting on the ground… I recommend wearing some tights underneath! 😉 Some really nice work with the double hoops from you and I love that you are going for juggling a bit as well! you could practise that move a lot and then in a few weeks show us how you’ve progressed? i’d love to see that on a long shot. your skills aren’t the cleanest but you’re trying hard to add a lot of variety in this video and I think that really pays off. I enjoyed watching this!
Theme: 8.5

BABZ: Got a strong goth vibe from this video for sure even though I wouldn’t have said the song choice was necessarily the definition of “goth music”. Really loved to watch you really go for it. There was a great sense of emotion in your movements and your bad ass moves kept my attention through the whole video which is not easy to do! Can’t wait to see more! Also – I need those knee highs!

LILA: I can see that you’ve been pushing yourself to showcase some new tricks and more techy hooping! Tricks were sometimes a bit sloppy, but thanks to the editing, it looked okay. Cuts are also made for that and only showing the nice parts^^. My favourite moment was the beginning of the video because it was kind of choreographed and fit great with the music, good job on the legs! I think the juggling shot was not worth being in the video, but maybe in the next one?

3. KITTYHOOP: TOULOUSE, FRANCE. Not viewable where you live? Try it on Vimeo.

ANAH: Kittyhoop! I loved the vibe of your video. I think you got the goth vibe down for sure! I especially loved the “musicians”… ha! While your multi hooping was spot on, I would love to see a little more variety and innovation in your hoop dance. Show us those fresh signature moves!
Theme: 9
Skills/Flow: 7
Overall Video Presentation: 8
Total Score: 24

LISA: Hey kitty, an iconic song choice and a great adherence to theme this week! I love that you got a bunch of friends involved in this video, and Spongebob and the band were just fantastic! Presentation wise, I feel like you could have made more effort during the editing of this video to have the moves and video transitions happen on the counts of the music. It just looks like you worked on the video in silence and then stuck the music behind it in the end. They don’t come across as one at all. And then you have some fabulous moments with the hoops and they get cut while you’re only just getting into it!! So I really wish there was less quick edits and a bit more thinking of the music you’re with. That song is so beautiful, you ought to do it justice! My favourite part was your multiple hooping scenes, just because thats where we got to see all of you and all of the trick. It’s looking good and it will look even better if you get your active flexibility on, so stretch stretch stretch and get your bum to some ballet classes, they really help!
Theme: 9
Skills/Flow: 7.5
Overall Video Presentation: 7
Total Score: 23.5

BABZ: Liked that you had some strange goth scenes in your video (although I think the banjos were a little out of place). I would have liked to have seen more of you really getting into your flow as I found the transitions between you demonstrating a move and then moving right onto the next a bit short. Video length was also too long and it was a full minute before there was any actual hooping. So pretty please, more flow in a shorter video next time :).
Theme: 6

LILA: I think this is the video with the best cinematography! I had to rewatch the Lullaby original video and it’s great how you took some details and made it your own (the look, the hands, the clock, musicians… I spotted Spongebob!) I particularly liked the shots on the mattress, still want to see more flow from you though. The 6 hoops finale is always impressive to watch, congratulations for putting this artistic video together in such a short time, glad to see you can rely on friends’ support!

4. CALLUM BAKER: BRISTOL, ENGLAND, UK. Not viewable where you live? Try it on Vimeo.

LISA: Hey Callum! Did you just happen to have a birdcage/prison cell in your backyard? That’s hilarious. I really like your video this week taking me right back to my teens with some Marilyn Manson, nice. I love the LED’s but I feel like maybe for the sake of building up a video, maybe you should have used them more towards the end? Also, could you use those LED’s for some of your amazing juggling moves? I know they are a bit hard to work with, but that’s something I haven’t seen yet, maybe an idea for a future video. I think you have storytelling down with a wonderful injection of skill and charisma. Awesome.
Theme: 9

Total Score: 27.5

BABZ: There was actually a hint of enthusiasm at 1:38 that gave me hope that you could actually incorporate this into your crazy ass technical skills! You had some really great editing and loved the Marilyn Manson song choice, but my favourite part is still watching you rock out with one hoop :). For me its not so much about the crazy crazy tricks, but how you move while you’re hooping.
Theme: 7
Skills/Flow: 7
Overall Video Presentation: 7.5

LILA: Marilyn Manson is the one who introduced me to the dark culture, I’m glad you picked something that represents you. Probably more freaky than the romantic goth! The video was very dynamic, which was good since all the other ones are more slow, so again your difference stands out. I have to say I wasn’t paying attention to the hooping so much, would love to see a longer shot with a sequence insead of trick/cut/trick/cut. This video had the same vibe as last week, curious about the next theme to see something maybe unexpected!

5. SYDNEY HANNON: TIGRE, ARGENTINA. Not viewable where you live? Try it on Vimeo.

ANAH: Wowzers Sydney! I love this whole video so much! I really appreciate your dance integration in your hoop movements. It really makes such a huge artistic difference for the audience and reflects the mood of the song really well. The only critique I have is I wish you had been turned towards the window instead of away at 2:27. The light would have been perfect!
Theme: 9

LISA: Hey Sydney! A goth without black hair is obvs not a real goth so you’ve totally nailed that part! I thought your video this week was incredibly aesthetically pleasing. It feels like you took a lot of time to play with the shots and it paid off. I love that scene inside the little house where you use the doubles behind that frame. Skill wise i think those breaks are fantastic!! I could have seen more of those! And a great 4 split also. 0.5 bonus point for including the fluffy cat (yes that is how easy it is to manipulate this judge). Some of the shots were a little dark in contrast, but it didn’t bother me too much. This is a great video, nice work, my favourite this week!

LILA: Tell me you’ve been a goth as a teenager! I can totally picture you in that style with the black hair, it felt so true! One more time I’ve been impressed by your creativity, loved the shot on the bridge and in the wooden house with the frame, mixing straight lines and circles is always a win! Damn your breaks were steady as hell and great use of your recent circus training with flexibility and aerial! I can’t wait to see more of your progress. The fire hooping was a great idea for this theme.

6. KATIE MORRIS: YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO, USA. Not viewable where you live? Try it on Vimeo.

ANAH: Katie, I enjoy the energy of your music selection and your storyline! At :30 seconds in, your roll missed the contact. If you lift your wrist to make contact with the hoop after your release, your rolls will be smoother and you will have more contact! I loved that you added dance to your hooping. Thank you! I think your video would have been much more interesting if your camera person had (unless you were using a tripod?) added some movement rather than staying in one place. It can really add some texture and excitement to a long video!
Theme: 9
Skills/Flow: 8
Overall Video Presentation: 7
Total Score: 24

LISA: Hey Katie, what i really like about this video is that I really feel like you have the music there with you when you shot it. You’re a really great performer and your personality really comes across on camera, but I think in this instance you could have done so much more with that. There just wasn’t very much variety in this video. I got a bit bored. Your skills are so great, but it was mainly off body hooping, and it felt like much of the same. Show me what you can do. I bet you can do so much more! Don’t worry about saving the best for last, I want to see your best hooping video every week! This week I was a little disappointed.

BABZ: Great energy in this video! And a great level of gothyness. Liked to see the transitions between one and two hoops and some really fantastic editing in this. Unfortunately you don’t seem as confident with your fire hooping as with your regular flow, so I feel like the fire might not have been the best way to finish your video. LILA: I didn’t get the good/evil thing at the beginning with the colors of the hoop, but once I did I thought that was a pretty cool idea, fighting between two personalities we have all inside. I hope in real life it’s not the evil that wins!! I like how you prepared your hoop sequence in advance so you could have day and night switches smoothly in the editing. This is how videos are done usually, still a bit choreographed then you look more confident! I loved the cartwheel and the pirouette with the lock obviously! One tip for next time, antispins and caps should be filmed in total profile to really see the pattern, otherwise we lose the purpose of those tricks!

7. POCKET MONSTER: LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK, USA. Not viewable where you live? Try it on Vimeo.

ANAH: Pocket monster! Your hooping is fun to watch and I liked the scene you chose. The song is not really in the goth genre though, so you lost some theme points for that. I would like to see more contact in your rolls (thought there was one towards the end that was quite lovely!) and more dance expressiveness in your body. Really stretch into new areas of movement and go the extra inch to expand the art of your dance!
Theme: 6
Skills/Flow: 7

LISA: Hey Pocket, you are a great mover with a drop dead stunning chest roll! I can tell you spend a lot of hours on your own in your backyard (or somewhere else) with some loud music on just rocking out with that hoop! It shows. I love that you took the whole day to shoot this video and that we can see the bright daylight and then that beautiful sunset. I’m about ready to get a bit more variety from you on the moves though, get some more hoops involved! A lot of those moves you’re doing with two on one arm, you could mirror that on the other side. For the sake of your videos, get some friends involved! Have a look at some of the other videos this week and see what I mean. It takes more than a few great moves to make an entertaining video and that’s what I am missing here; I see skill and not so much entertainment or performance. You’ve got this though, I know you can do it!
Theme: 6.5

Even though the music is not representative of the Goth movement, I guess this one means something important to you and if it helps you embrace your inner dark side, that’s okay. Though I wished you had played with the music, especially after the intro, when the beats start to get more agressive. We see no change in your hooping so it feels like you’ve just put the music randomly over your hooping. Nice 3D hoop moves here though!

8. BIANCA CALIFORNIA: SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA, USA. Not viewable where you live? Try it on Vimeo.

ANAH: Bianca! Love the castle location. So awesome! Your hooping is almost not campy enough for this song, but it felt like you managed to get into the vibe anyway. I do wish I got more sense of a story that fit with the song though. I loved your hand flourishes at :47. If you get your timing better at :56 you will be able to step straight down, rather than out and the exit will flow in a whole new way! All in all your hooping is great, I would just vary your speeds a little more and perhaps take more risks in your movement and energetic expression.

LISA: hey Bianca, I just think that your style is so smooth and you seem so sweet! And thank YOU for giving me some on-body hooping! I was starting to feel very old fashioned over here with all of these new-fangled off body moves, I swear I can’t do half of them! I thought your video was really lovely this week, a great choice of song and I really felt like you were with it, moving to the music and also having a really great time in the process! That costume change was just the best and that’s really what I want to see in this competition, you kept me engaged with lots of variety and a very clean execution on moves all whilst adding a serious pinch of personality. I loved it!

LILA: One more time I am amazed by your grace, how you dance with one hoop so smoothly, and it was good to display 3 different kinds of hooping with single, twins and minis. The shots in the first location were great quality, we could see you very well! The story was a bit simple, but made it to the end when you jump flying away as a crow. I guess goth doesn’t always mean sad face, but I couldn’t really see your darkside – maybe because you are such a shiny person !

LISA: hey Sharkie, I really enjoyed your video this week. What a tune! I have actually been watching Peaky Blinders all week which uses this track as their theme tune, so I was right there with you! I really like the story in this with the plague mask and your great variety of scenes combined with some sweet-ass moves. That work with triples is so great and it works so well in that shot in front of the church in between those two trees, it’s aesthetically pleasing and keeps me engaged and entertained! I think next week you can up your skill a bit with maybe some multiple hooping or some moves that might be more challenging for you that you can share with us. The point of this competition is that you come out an even more amazing hooper than you went in, so start thinking now what you can surprise us with next week, I expect great things!

BABZ: I can tell there is some story going on here, but I wish it was a little more cohesive. Great to see some solid transitions within your multi hooping, but I would have liked to see more of the gothyness translated into your movement somehow.

LILA: That was a very nice video! First, the quality makes a difference, especially when many videos are shot at night. I liked how you were hooping the whole time, even when you were walking with escalators and smear, it’s a hooping video! My favourite part was the shot in front of the mountains because we could see a full sequence of your flow that was super clean and I totally want to check that again to pick a few of your transitions. Very good job! Didn’t really make the link with your video last week, so it means you surprised me!

10. DUREZZA: SANTIAGO, CHILE. Not viewable where you live? Try it on Vimeo.

ANAH: Durezza, the camera work in this was amazing and fresh! You would have gotten a higher video score if you hadn’t talked a couple times while you were being shot. It affects the mood to be sure. If that happens in the future, just shoot the scene again. Your hooping is very flowy and smooth. I love it! I would still like to see more expressiveness though, both in your face and your body. I do see that you have improved in your expressiveness from last week though! Keep it up ☺

LISA: Hey Lucas, you know I am in love with your skills, but we need to see more performance from you. Your assignment this week is to go to a dance class. It can be contemporary, ballet or jazz, but I want you to start moving your body! For most of your moves we just get you static in one place and that isn’t going to help you win this thing. I want your eyes on the camera and your body moving in the shot! You don’t have to do that the whole time, but you definitely need some of it to break it up. I am asking a lot of the girls for more variety this week and I need it from you too! Theme wise, I got all of the goth, sad, emotional vibes with some beautiful shots from you (where the hell did you find that deer??), so well done for that. Next week you need to step it up. You have the skills of dreams, now present them like you mean it!

BABZ: Your outfits, locations and editing were all much improved since last week, but your music choice didn’t give me a strong goth vibe. It’s fun watching you hoop. Hopefully in another video we’ll get the chance to watch you really rock out! Oh, and nice work on that 6 hoop split!

LILA: Have you ever seen the movie « Interview with a vampire » ? With that shirt I could totally picture you as an intellectual vampire! You could have played also with the red hoops / blood drops. To me, the video needs something more than a music/costume/location. I am waiting for creativity. A lot of your tricks are clean, challenge yourself to add movement to them. I like the fact that you put new things in, curious about the next step!

11. LUCY FORD: NOMADIC HOOPER, ANYWHERE. Not viewable where you live? Try it on Vimeo.

ANAH: Lucy, I really liked that you changed your levels a lot while hooping. It really breaks up the flow (in a good way) and adds a dance flavor. I was honestly a little conflicted watching you hooping on top of the graves, but I am sure the dead people loved it 😉

LISA: Hey Lucy! Thank you for giving me an absolutely classic goth tune! I think you’re the best mover in this competition and it’s actually refreshing to see someone hold their body well inside their own skin. I think you have so much potential, but I need to see more hoops from you. I’m looking at your body and not your hoop because you’re not engaging me enough with it! I want to see on body hooping from you as well as a greater variety of moves. Get some doubles involved, show me your flexibility and entertain me! I think there is about 10x more in you than I am not seeing from this video!

BABZ: I really liked watching you gothifying yourself with your make up etc. Although 1:30 before we get to see you hoop is too long! I love your hooping and you really seamed goth AF, but for the love of god use a tripod, or stabilize your video in the editing process! It was also really great to see you get some emotion into your hooping, not an easy task for goth week.

LILA: I am so jealous of your look and makeup!! It feels like a mix of Lydia from Beetlejuice and Nina Hagen… freaking awesome! I like the shots on the tombs, very artistic, probably not very ethical, but they looked very old. The only problem is that you haven’t paid attention to the hooping. It is hard to judge on your skills/flow because there isn’t a lot of hooping (only starts at 1.24) and considering your dancing skills, I know you can put something better out there. I would recommend a static shot of your flow of maybe 20 secs next time?

12. SHYHOOPZ: SANTA CLARA, CALIFORNIA, USA. Not viewable where you live? Try it on Vimeo.

ANAH: Dang Shyla! Hooping in those heels must have been tough! I like all the different positions your managed to get yourself in without sacrificing the quality of your hoop dance. I would have edited out the oops moment at 1:14. Your hooping is quality, but I would like more passion and expressiveness!

LISA: Hey Shyla, I think one of the problems with greyscaling your footage is that hoops can get a bit lost and I’m afraid that was the case in a lot of your scenes. I like that you took me for a mini tour of your town, perhaps the theme could have been a bit more exaggerated and you could have shown me a little more heartbreak? I think you have some fantastic moves, but I would like to see you use some bigger hoops next time? And also, give me some more on body hooping, show me what you got! I also think that if you go for a massive trick and you drop it, maybe don’t include it in the video? Unless you are trying to make a point or it’s a joke or something. I just didn’t really get what was going on exactly this week. A great beginning of a video and a great ending, now you need to show me more of the middle content!

LILA: I’ve seen a few cool tricks there. It’s nice you went in different locations to change the background sometimes, there are differents angles and different levels. LISA: Hi Hannah, this is exactly what I am talking about! You’ve hit the nail on the head this week with over-the-top drama, beautiful movement and a wide variety of moves set to a classic tune. I loved it, You have such beautiful feet and legs and you are really showing them off here! Have you tried filming moves where you lie on the floor and hoop on your feet from a different angle? They actually look amazing when you film them from the front so you can see the top of your head and then your legs behind that, try it! You have a great personality that shines on camera and I really love that move where you lunge wide and have two hoops going on your top hand. Also kudo’s to your camera person for getting in some great shots. Thanks for giving me a massively entertaining video!

ANAH: Che, I feel like you are one millimeter away from truly letting go. I would love to see you dig deeper! Are you warming your body up really well before you get on camera? If you get really LOOSE first, it might help you let go more. Find the raw emotion in you and link it to your movement. I can see it just right there allllmost breaking out. Get it girl ☺ Oh, and be careful not to talk on camera! You might think no one will notice but we do 😉

LISA: Hi Che! What’s really enjoyable about your video this week is the way you’re moving with your hoop! You are going for it and that is exactly what we want to see. You’ve shot in some beautiful locations and I love the backdrop, although I do wish you would have left out that one shot in front of the door that you filmed on your phone? It just distracts from how beautiful the rest of the video is! This week you gave me passion, attitude and a visible joy for life with a real dark goth lining and a ridiculously beautiful blue and purple hoop! Seriously, is that tape or is that the plastic? It’s stunning!

ANAH: Cat! Dope camera work and awesome locations! I am not familiar with this song, but it seems like it might not actually be a goth song? Totally loved the mood and your hooping was fresh and flowy. Just a teeny bit more dance and your hooping would pop!

LISA: Hi Cat! What a wonderful opening scene, I love this kind of camera work! I really liked the beginning of this video where you showed me some kick ass moves in front of that church and those isolations with that little yellow hoop were spot on! But then I think you either lost your mojo while you were filming, or you had set out to film without a solid plan because I got a bit bored half way in with more of the same and then the video just ended. I actually had to check my network connection because I could still hear the music, but I didn’t see any video. I was disappointed because it started out so well and then just fizzled out – like a tease. Bring me more next week please! More story, more hoops, more moves!

BABZ: Was good to see some emotion in our movement and it’s great to watch you flow with the hoop. Pretty please, pick a shorter song next time. I found it a bit strange that you didn’t just cut the video off when it was all black and just the music playing. Also please use a tripod and stabilize your video in the editing process, your hoop skills are too good to be watched through a shaky camera!

LILA: Oh my god I loved the shot at 1.45 with the LED hoop. The lines, the dress, everything was perfect! Great use of the LED in the night for the black and white so we can really see your moves. The crossed arms smear was also a hit for me. What happened in the end? You had a nice introduction and no end? That’s weird. Also, the camera was a bit shaky.
