The results of Tribal Week on Hooping Idol are here with 60% of the decision coming from the public vote and 40% from the scores of our judges. Hooping.org congratulates all of our Hooping Idol finalists that are moving on to the next round – and we have nothing but love for those that are departing here. We’ve loved having you in the competition and we adore you both! Thanks so much for being a part of our exciting third season of Hooping Idol.
What’s next for the Fab Five remaining Hooping Idol finalists? First, they get to take a break to relax, refresh and regroup this weekend so they’re adequately prepared for Performance Week – the final obstacle that will decide which three finalists will make their way to the Hooping Idol 3 Finale and a shot at winning our Ultimate Hooping Idol Prize Package. Tune in on Monday for the full details regarding our Performance Week Challenge.
What our finalists can do in the meantime, however, is find themselves somewhere to perform late next week in front of real live human beings, not just in front of a video camera. Over the course of Hooping Idol our judges have been helping each of our finalists fine tune their hooping and performance skills and the time has nearly arrived for them to put them to the test – finding an audience or creating one of their own. Perhaps there is a community event or gathering taking place in their area, or they can create a performance space in any setting they wish – just as long as there is a minimum of ten people on hand to enjoy the show. Their only mission between now and Monday is to get that part of the Performance Week Challenge scheduled.
As for the rest, those of us who perform know that we often get very specific performance instructions with a short amount of time to prepare and we need to make it work. While we might prefer performances where we supply our own soundtrack and someone hits play and we do our own thing, reality doesn’t always work that way and we want to see how well our Fab Five can tackle the assignment and handle the pressure. They’ll have their full Performance Week instructions on Monday – including the song they will all be performing to and wardrobe requirements. Until then, happy hooping everybody!
