Top Ten List: October 7-13 2012

Top Ten List Hey Hoopers! Let’s countdown our top ten most buzz worthy posts of the past week, shall we? Our top ten is based on reader response so here’s the hottest stuff the hoopersphere loved the most that you won’t want to have missed. We are starting off at number ten and we’ll be working our way up to the number one spot of the week, so here’s Hooping.org’s Top Ten List for the week of October 7th – 13th, 2012.

10a: We begin with a tie for our tenth spot and first up – it’s a magical video we called art with a hula hoop: Fairyland (48 Points).

10b: Also coming in at number ten this week was this awesome tutorial from Jo offering us variations on a popular hoop move: Hooping Tutorials: Escalator Variations (48 Points).

9: Our readers got all excited this week about The Hooping Fireman, and who can blame them? (50 Points).

8: And then we had something truly unusual to share with you when Sarah hooped her PhD: Weird Science (73 Points).

7: In what will be remembered as an epic dance off the Bay Area Hoopers Battled Bay Area Breakdancers (77 Points).

6: Next up is a beautiful video from Stephanie, our highest rated one this week, which featured a surprise guest at the end: Stephanie Latham (79 Points).

5: Shea, our resident hooping cardiac nurse, gave us another great reason to hoop it up: Hoop For Your Heart (80 Points).

4: Philo shared his reflections on Hoopcamp this year: Hoopcamp 2012: Movin and Groovin (82 Points).

3: With all the hoopla going on these days Abby made her intentions clear: I Just Want To Hoop (102 Points).

2: When we extended our deadline for casting for The Amazing Hoop Race 2, we had no idea people would be almost as excited about that as they were about the original announcement. You have until Friday to get your casting week submission in: Amazing Hoop Race 2 Casting Week Extended (165 Points).

1: And at number one this week with a bullet is a column by Lara and it’s all about Hooping Naked (313 Points).
