Bing.com’s first “Bing It On Challenge” event was recently held at The Grove mall in Los Angeles, California. Extra host Maria Menounos and Derek Hough from Dancing with the Stars are both used to competing on television and they both brought that spirit of competition with them, challenging locals to see if they preferred Bing over Google. Beyond that, there were other challenges including dance-offs, arm wrestling matches, pies to the face and hula hoop battles. The former “Dancing with the Stars” partners even ended up challenging each other, and while their dance battle ended up in a draw, when Hough dared Menounos to hula hoop she managed to spin it up beautifully. And when Derek Hough found himself inside a hoop battle contest of his own, against local resident Kathryn Campbell, he ultimately ended up losing out, not that he didn’t keep it up for a good, long while.
