Top Ten List: August 5-11 2012

Top Ten List Hope you’ve had a super happy weekend hoopers and that you’ve all been able to spend some time inside your hoops. It’s time for us to count down the top ten most buzz worthy posts of the week (as based on reader response) and what’s in our top ten this go around? We thought we’d probably see Misty Gonzales: Love is War on the list, and we were suprised Hoop Hop with Miss Kellee didn’t make the cut either, but there were so many great things to share this week it was harder than ever to make the list. So let’s start things off at number ten and work our way up to the number one spot of the week. Here’s Hooping.org’s Top Ten List for August 5th – August 11th, 2012.

10a: We have a tie for our tenth spot so first up we have a former Olympic Rhythmic Gymnastic Silver Medalist, Yuliya Raskina, sharing her hula hoop artistry (45 Points).

10b: Then we also have our interview with our Hooper of the Week – Jo Mondy: Inside The Hoop (45 Points).

9: The San Francisco Chronicle profiled a hooper and made a lot of people happy: Nicole Wong Has San Francisco Hooping It Up (51 Points).

8: The Hooping Life Screenings Spun It Up in Paris, Chicago, New York City, Winnipeg, Dallas and Memphis (55 Points).

7: Bonnie shared her tips for when the hoop gathering is over: Hoop Gathering Afterglow and the Melancholy Monday (55 Points).

6: We love this stunning shot of Vivian Lumo just as much as you do (61 Points).

5: Nicole Wong makes our Top Ten List yet again this week, only this time it’s for a truly awesome photo: Nicole Wong (66 Points).

4: Our highest ranked photo of the week featured some incredible hair hooping: Maria Valentin (91 Points).

3: While our top rated video of the week featured Kaydi McMahan (94 Points).

2: Aussie guest blogger Ingrid scored a direct hit with Hooping To Infinity and Beyond as We Get Older (174 Points).

1: And at number one this week we have Natasha’s piece: Rhythmic Gymnastics Hoops Up The 2012 Oympics (348 Points).
