Anna Haller Has Erie Hooping It Up

Anna Haller, 30, stepped into a well-rounded and inexpensive fitness routine that’s fun and can be done anywhere. That’s right, hooping! She started spinning it up eight-years-ago when her two daughters were small and the back-to-back pregnancies had added some significant pounds. Now she’s being called a “two-ring master”, entertaining and teaching around the region – and she lost the 30 pounds as well. She told GoErie.com, “Hooping is a revolution in simple fun. Hooping is much more than spinning a hoop around your waist. It is about connecting with your body and freeing your mind. Anyone of any age can learn how to hoop. It is about connecting with yourself, your inner child.” Elaine Priestes, 56, has also gotten hooked on hooping and lost 12 pounds so far. She explained, “Between hooping, walking and portion control, I’m finally losing weight and feeling a lot better. I really think hooping and walking is making the difference.” We think so too.
