For our Friday Flashback this week we go back in time to 1998 for Lori Lynn Lomeli’s appearance on The Donny and Marie Osmond talk show. Lori Lynn, for those who may not be familiar, was the 1973 World Hula Hoop champion and held Guinness world records in hula hooping over the years. In 1998 she came back into the public eye appearing on Donny and Marie, as well as spinning her way onto the Today Show and Good Morning America. What is she up to now? She’s still on a mission to encourage people of all ages to participate in spin it up. Her dream is to revitalize the World Hula Hoop® Championship competitions here in the U.S.
