While Hooping.org’s 2012 Hoopie Awards are about inclusiveness with a randomly selected review panel and community-wide voting, The Revolvies are the dictatorial creation of self-proclaimed hostess Kari Revolva. In this year’s pre-show she sets out to reclaim the power from last year’s big award winners: Spiral and Hooping.org’s Philo Hagen (whose comments seem remarkably familiar).
