Selena Gomez is seen hooping in this outtake from the photo shoot for Paper mag’s Most Beautiful People issue. The 18-year-old actress and singer told Paper that she’s ready for the fight to the top. “When you see Meryl Streep or Natalie Portman or Kate Winslet at the Oscars, you know they’ve worked so hard for years and years, and you can tell they just love it. I look forward to the fight–that’s kind of the thrill of it all.” Gomez is best known for portraying Alex Russo in the Emmy Award-winning Disney Channel television series “Wizards of Waverly Place”. She is also the lead singer and founder of the pop band Selena Gomez & the Scene. They’ve released two RIAA Gold certified studio albums, “Kiss & Tell” and “A Year Without Rain.”
