Hula Hoops Has UK Hoopers in a Spin Again

April 28, 2011 in Europe

Britain's Got Talent In the UK when people talk about hula hoops, sometimes they’re not talking about us at all. They’re talking about a potato-based snack that also has the name Hula Hoops that come in the shape of short hollow snacky cylinders. First introduced in 1973, the KP Snacks product was a major force behind the UK setting a new hula hooping world record – and we’re talking about our kind of hula hoops in that case too. Now the company has teamed up with Britain’s Got Talent for a contest, inviting the UK to “show us a hole lot of talent and win a £10,000 ticket to stardom.” Two of the current entries are actually from hula hoopers, our kind of hoopers, who are enjoying Hula Hoop snacks while they spin it up. They’re not only fun entry videos to watch, they could certainly use our votes and community support too. Chi Chi Revolver, who co-moderates our Burlesque Hoopers group, hoops up her contest entry here, while Angie Mackman and Beatrix Asenjo team up for their double shot of hooping entry. Check them out and give the gals your vote!
