Hooping Tutorials: The Clockwork Doll

Lissa Angeline, co-moderator of our main Hooping Community and our Curvy Hoopers Group & Forum, is here to teach us a move she calls “The Clockwork Doll.” It’s an overhead elbow spin to shoulder hoop technique and the name comes from the pendulum motion of the arm that is propelling the elbow hooping, and from the stance taken to get to the overhead elbow hooping, a riff on Tyra Banks’ beloved “broken down doll” pose. She lives in Hurst, Texas, USA.
