Get To Know Cheryl Benson

In Alabama, the Press-Register wants you to get to know Cheryl Benson, and after reading a little bit more about her we want to get to know her too. When she’s not driving her yellow dump truck hauling small loads of top soil, sand, gravel and mulch. Her home is a natural party magnet with palm trees and colorful beach chairs, an outdoor bar and other beach paraphernalia leading to her home’s pier on Mobile Bay. She explained, “We love to host parties here. We had 125 to 150 people for the Fourth of July. That is when I was able to do my hula-hoop fire dance.” Yes, Cheryl is a fire hooper and the proud owner of a large hula hoop with six lighted wicks attached.
