The Hooping Life is pleased to announce that the film will be heading north for its Canadian premiere soon. The popumentary film about the roots of the hooping revolution will be rolling into Montreal, Quebec, having been chosen by the Montreal Film Festival. While the exact screening date has yet to be announced, we’ve heard that it should run sometime during their opening weekend, and the festival runs August 26th through September 6th. Fresh on the heels of sold out shows in Florida and California with incredible hoopjams surrounding every screening, Beka Hoop of iHoopu.com in Montreal is already busy working on organizing what might very well be the largest hoopjam in Canadian history. The iHoopu Troupe is gearing up for performing. Hoopalicious, who appears in the film, will also be on hand in Montreal – where she’s rumored to be teaching some classes too.
