  2. i went to the hoop dancer first and had to comment on it immediately…thanks for posting this, it’s incredibly beautiful. a divine manifestation of the goddess dancing with hoop c.1891! the explanation of its origins is quite cosmic. metaphorically similar to my existence as a hoop performer now. also reminds me of a quote i was once told…”she dances on your palm because she owns you” not literally, of course, but a fun linguistic interpretation for all us sexy hoopstresses out there.
